Mattermost Messaging Platform

Updates
We're already using Mattermost for our company internal communication and alerting. Since this year we're using Mattermost in a different way.
In two platforms we're building for clients Mattermost is used to enable real-time messaging between the users. In these projects Drupal is integrated with Mattermost to manage user and channel creation as well as profile updates. Within Drupal we're also able to react on i.e. new messages and use that information to trigger other actions. The integration is done using the Mattermost HTTP Restful Web Service and the WebSocket Event Delivery System.
While we think its a powerful approach to combine Drupal with Mattermost, for implementing business processes and Mattermost for real-time messaging, we're also aware of the challenges that come with making Drupal the single source of truth, concerncing Mattermost entities.
